Just a random though on photography.

I believe that photographers which only make black and white photos are not as good as those who do not fear to make coloured photos.
BW ones almost every time are good, while coloured are usually not that interesting, and changing them to BW frequently fixes the shot.

Just a humble opinion...

As a (mostly) b&w photographer, I agree.

Technically, I find it a lot harder to get the exposure looking right on three channels at once.

However, there are some things that you can only rarely do with b&w. Wildlife photography for example - where the subject usually is too indistinct to be made out properly.

Mwahaha, so what? :))

I learned english almost 10 years ago as first foreign language and use it for writing kernel patches only. At kernel summit I said 'it suck' instead of 'it sucks' when 100 professional kernel hackers looked and listened to me. When I ordered a food I pointed a finger and said 'this and that' instead of telling how the food is named. And you know what? I completely do not care.

Robert, of course there are cases when bw photos are not interesting, but imho that's a much smaller amount. BW photos are easier to make and show so that others would comment 'how cool it is' or something like that. I do not say that bw photographers are not professionals, but only that it is not interesting to make bw photos _only_ because they almost always look cool.

You're a real Russian man. Instead of using the right and proper English language you're touting your ignorance.

Being you, I would either stop making posts in English or learn it a bit better 'cause English is a no brainier.

Anyway it's you to decide and it's me who just goes away and never advances a remark about your mistakes.

Cheers! :-)

I write it not for someone or for some purpose. I do that only because I like and everyone who do not like it or do not understand or do not want to read is very suggested not to read this. If I do mistake I want to fix it, but not to listen some stilted crap about... That's it. DIXI.

One should be very careful when touching a community kernel dev's ego ))
