Interview with Chris Mason about btrfs.

One can find it here. Main issues are stage of the project (early alpha, although Chris uses btrfs for mail spool, but with mail config, which mirrors mails to stable storage), featule list (no ACL and extended attributes, non-scalable locking, number of other major issues), timeline (on-disk format stabilization this year, usable and tested by users early in 2008), Chris wants btrfs to be default Linux filesystem in a near future, he says, that btrfs is not ZFS competitor, but only other linux filesystems.

Consider to start my own filesystem, wich such timings I can compete.
