New release of the distributed storage subsystem.

It includes security attributes, a lot of documentation and (purely internal change) per-sector bitmask of the dirty sectors instead of per-page in the mirror algorithm.
One can find sources of the new userspace utility, userspace documentation with several setup exmaples and kernel patch on the project homepage.
Enjoy.

This looks cool, I will have to try it out. I like that you can mount it as a block device (I don't have much experience with distributed storage systems so maybe that's the case with a lot of them, but it's still cool).

Do you have any plans to add a mailing list for discussion and questions?

Thanks, Fred. I do not know about need to have a mail list - likely I will not create one at least until there is reasonable amount of users of the new technology. So far I plan to implement clustering filesystem on top of distributed storage , which can increase number of potential users, so there will be a real desire to have a dedicated mail list.
